Roy Blaine

  Services for Roy Blaine, 72, of Shreveport, were held Thursday,
Feb. 18, in Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Shreveport.

  The Rev. Sam Nader, pastor of Noel Memorial Methodist Church,
officiated, and burial was in Forest Park.

  Mr. Blaine, a resident of Shreveport for 48 years, died Tuesday.
He had been ill for three months.

  A native of Camden, Ark., he was a retired manager of the Caddo
DeSoto Cotton Oil Co., and was formerly associated with the
Ruston Cotton Oil Co.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Louella Blaine, Shreveport;
one son, M. R. Blaine of Many; two daughters, Mrs. Camille Jones
of Shreveport, and Mrs. W. E. Paxton of London, England; seven
grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
