Ernest B. Blankenship

  Ernest Berry Blankenship, 62, of Pleasant Hill, died at his residence Aug. 16. He was a
retired farmer.

  Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Aug. 17, in the Progress Presbyterian Church, with
the Rev. J. C. Kerns officiating. Burial was in the Progress Cemetery, under the direction
of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors include his widow; one son, Ernest B. Blankenship of Pleasant Hill; two
step-children, Mrs. Helen Layfield of Shreveport, and Edmond Dyes of Zwolle; his mother,
Mrs. L. B. Blankenship of Pleasant Hill; three brothers, N. E. Blankenship of Noble,
William M. Blankenship of Pleasant Hill, and S. H. Blankenship of Beaumont, Tex.; one
sister, Mrs. Guffie Patterson of Pleasant Hill.
