W. M. Blankenship

  William M. Blankenship, 73, of Pleasant Hill, died suddenly at
his home Sunday afternoon, June 16.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, in the
Congregational Methodist Church in Spring Ridge, with the Rev.
Foster Jennings officiating, assisted by the Rev. Weyman
Redhaven. Burial was in the Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the
direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Yvonne Ponder of
Lafayette, and Mrs. Linnie Buckliew of Pensacola, Fla.; three
grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. L. B. Blankenship of Pleasant
Hill; two brothers, N. W. Blankenship, and S. H. Blankenship,
both of Pleasant Hill; one sister, Mrs. Guffey Pattison of
Pleasant Hill.
