Doris May Blankenship

  Graveside service for Mrs. Doris May Blankenship, 61, were held
at 11 a.m., Friday, December 8, at Beulah Cemetery in
Marthaville, under the direction of Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home
in Coushatta. Officiating the service was Father Roger McMullen.

  Mrs. Blankenship, a housewife, passed away Wednesday, December
6, at L.S. Huckabay Memorial Hospital in Coushatta, following a
lengthy illness.

  She is survived by her husband, Gertha Blankenship of
Marthaville; three daughters, Phyllis Blankenship of Dallas,
Texas, Chadetta Blankenship, and Alan Blankenship, both of
Shreveport; two sisters, Phyllis Francey, and Lorraine Grinell,
both of Providence, Rhode Island; 12 grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews.
