Della Blankenship

  Funeral services for Della Blankenship, 87, were held at 2 p.m.,
October 29, at Progress Presbyterian Church.

  Officiating were Rev. Jerry Lawson, and Rev. Dale Gentry.
Interment was in Progress Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Blankenship passed away on October 27, 1994, in North
Toledo Nursing Home in Zwolle.

  Mrs. Blankenship was born to Webb and Mattie Blackwell
Blankenship on September 10, 1907, in Sabine Parish, La.

  Survivors are three children, Edwin Dyess of Zwolle, Helen Vines
of Shreveport, and Earnest Blankenship of Pleasant Hill; and five
brothers, Quinton Brandon, Victor Brandon, Howard Brandon, Nathan
Brandon, all of Zwolle, and Jack Brandon of Shreveport; three
sisters, Eloise Nabours, and Eula Lea Nabours, both of Toledo
Nursing Home, and Learh Holt of Zwolle; ten grandchildren; and
nine great grandchildren.
