Mrs. Effie Blankenship

  Mrs. Effice Blankenship, 71, of Belmont, died at her home
Thursday, May 25.

  Funeral services were held at the Springridge Baptist Church
near Pleasant Hill, Saturday, May 27, with the Rev. A. E.
O'Conner, and the Rev. James N. Eames officiating. Burial was in
the Springridge Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral
Home.

  Mrs. Blankenship is survived by her husband, D. D. Blankenship;
one daughter, Mrs. Doris West of Huntsville, Ala.; three sons,
Hammond Blankenship, and Dewayne Blankenship, both of Houston,
Tex., and Edgar Blankenship of Shreveport; three brothers, Horace
Moses of Converse, Jessie Moses of Vivian, and Walter Moses of
Alexandria; two sisters, Mrs. Lurleen Burrow, and Mrs. Marie
Dyess, both of Shreveport; also several grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
