Mr. Joseph Leroy Bellard

  Mr. Joseph Leroy Bellard, 65, of Many died Tuesday, Nov. 4 at the VA Medical
Center in Alexandria.

  Mr. Bellard served in the U. S. Army.

  Survivors include his widow, Ruth Bellard; one daughter Kimberly (Felix)
Arable of Eunice; three step-daughters Sharon Linstrom, Urbana, Ill., Debra
Smeathers and Marie Logston, both of Arcola, Ill.; one step-son, Jesse Drake,
Jr. of Saucier, Miss.; one brother, Donald Ashford of Eunice; two sisters,
Mary (Earl) Bordelon of Eunice and Diana (Archange) Fontonet of Lake Charles;
three grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bellard was preceded in death by his parents, Dula (Batiste) Ashford and
Anise Bellard; one brother LeVerne Bellard; one nephew, Todd Bordelon; and
several aunts and uncles.

  Mr. Bellard donated his body to science.
