Dave G. Ballard

  Services for Dave G. Ballard, 51, of Shreveport, were at 2:30
p.m., Thursday, Nov. 9, at the Free Methodist Church in
Provencal, with the Rev. Robbie Barnes, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Provencal.

  Mr. Ballard died Monday, Nov. 6, in LSU Hospital, after a long
illness. A Natchitoches native, he had lived in Shreveport for 11
years.

  Survivors include his widow, Geneva D. Ballard of Shreveport;
two sons, Jim Ballard, and Noah Ballard, both of Shreveport; four
daughters, Shirley Brown, Alice Smith, and Kathy Beaird, all of
Shreveport, and Mrs. LayDell Brown of Converse; two brothers,
John Ballard, and Fred Ballard, both of Provencal; four sisters,
Susie Reed, and Lou Ford, both of Buris, Bertha Bynog of
Provencal, and Shirley Reems of Anacoco; and nine grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were James Ballard, Wayne Ballard, Fred Lee Ballard,
Larry Stuttus, Cecil Wayne Ballard, and Freddie Lee Ballard.
