Boone 12 Apr 1957 - Funeral services for Mrs. J. H. Boone, 79, who died at home Saturday, April 6 was conducted at the First Baptist church at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 7, with Rev. W. H. Rose and Rev. George York officiating. Interment was in Many cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral home. Survivors are son, J. Ruel Boone of Many; three daughters, Mrs. B. D. Weaver of Flora, Mrs. Cas D. Moss of Winnfield and Mrs. W. H. Pearson of Many, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were J. M. Jordan, Robert R. Pearson, Burton D. Weaver, Jr., W. H. Pearce, Jr., T. M. Phillips and Cecil Wright. Mrs. Boone was the widow of the late Judge John H. Boone, district judge of the Eleventh Judicial District for many years.
