Rufus Boone

  Funeral services for Rufus Boone, 81, who died in a Shreveport
hospital Saturday, June 9, after a long illness, were held
Sunday, June 10, at 2 p.m., in the Drewett Funeral Home of
Mansfield. The Rev. Charles Hall officiated.

  Burial was in the Stonewall Cemetery.

  Survivors are his wife; three sons, Jessie C. Boone of
Westfield, N. J., Lester B. Boone of Pasadena, and Willie J.
Boone of Stonewall; one daughter, Mrs. Gus Lazarus of Shreveport;
one brother, Archie Boone of Pelican, and eight grandchildren.
