Ashley Freeman Boone, Sr.

  Services for Mr. Ashley Freeman Boone, Sr., 67, of Springhill,
were held Monday, Feb. 20, at 4 p.m., in the Bailey Mortuary
Chapel in Springhill. The Rev. Kenneth Everett officiated. Burial
was in the Springhill Cemetery.

  Mr. Boone died Feb. 19, 1984, in Springhill. He was a member of
the Baptist Church, and was retired from International Paper
Company, after 18 years of service.

  He is survived by his wife, Allie Bouleware Boone of Springhill;
one son, Ashley Freeman Boone, Jr. of Taylor, Ark.; four
daughters, Mary Morris of Ringgold, Valerea McBride of Zwolle,
La., Margaret Outlaw of St. Amant, La., and Sue Raborn of
Goldonna, La.; two brothers, Bill Boone of Fort Smith, Ark., and
Kenneth Boone of Queen City, Texas, and eight grandchildren.
