Mrs. Elaine P. Boone

  Mrs. Elaine P. Boone, 78, died in Sabine Medical Center in Many,
on Wednesday, June 10, 1987, at 5:15 a.m.

  Services were held at Many First Baptist Church, at 2 p.m., on
Friday, June 12, with the Rev. Joe Ratcliff, and the Rev. Louis
Coppage officiating. Burial was at Many Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Boone was a member of the Many First Baptist Church, for 65
years.

  She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, William R. and
Becky Boone of Many; one brother, Floyd J. Pearce of Shreveport;
three sisters-in-law, Mrs. William H. Pearson of Many, Mrs. Cas
D. Moss of Winnfield, and Mrs. Floyd J. Pearce of Shreveport;
three grandchildren, Erin, Jennifer, and Lauren Boone of Many; a
host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her
husband, J. Reuel Boone.

  Pallbearers include Cas B. Moss, Burton Weaver, Leo McDonald,
Walter Snyder, Tom F. Phillips, Louis Lowrey, James R. Cole, and
Harry Nichols.

  Honorary pallbearers included Hubert Andries, J. E. Dees, W. B.
McNeely, W. E. Hayes, J. E. Wright, J. D. Salter, W. A. Meadows,
Glen Phares, Jack Jordan, and Truman Nichols.
