Mrs. Bengston is survived by her husband, Rev. W. H. Bengston of Many; a daughter, Mrs. John Rayford of Slidell, La.; a brother, C. B. Kenton of Decateur, Ala.; two step-sons, Rev. R. W. Bengston of Vidalia, La., and Dr. George Bengston of Florence, Ala.; two step-daughters, Mrs. George Smith of DeQuincy, and Mrs. Cecil Rhodes of Memphis, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the First United Methodist Church of Many, at 4 p.m. Dr. Ed Thomas, and the Rev. Bill Sirman officiated. Burial was in the Old Cemetery at Winnsboro, La. on Thursday, Jan. 17, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Bill Creed, Jim Lyons, John Petty, Sam Hays, Marlon Tannehill, and Jerry Petty.
