All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Francis Bennett Services for Mrs. Francis Cordelia Bennett, 58, of Bossier City, were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 30, in Rose-Neath Bossier City Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Troy Long, and the Rev. Herman Hendrix, both of Airline Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Centuries Memorial Park. A native of Pleasant Hill, and a resident of Bossier City 15 years, Mrs. Benett died Saturday, in Physicians, and Surgeons Hospital, after a short illness. Survivors include her husband, R. V. Bennett of Bossier City; one son, James R. Bennett of Bossier City; one daugher, Mrs. Barbara L. Thompson of Alexandria; three brothers, Johnny Raines, and Troy Raines, both of Shreveport, and Woodrow Raines of Houston; four sisters, Mrs. Kathy Tyler of Houston, Mrs. Virginia McCoy of Alexandria, Mrs. Marie Berry, and Mrs. Myrtle Brown, both of Shreveport; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Johnny Raines Jr., R. W. Bruce, Vernon Glenn, Earl Truman Brown, Reginald Bell, and Tommy McCullough.
