Emmett P. Bennett

  Mr. Emmett P. Bennett of Ball, La., died at his residence on
Sunday, February 12, 1984, at 8 a.m. He was 88.

  Funeral services for Mr. Bennett were held in the Fellowship
Baptist Church, Tuesday, February 14, at 10 a.m., with Bro. Don
Jones officiating. Interment was in the Fellowship Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma S. Bennett of Ball; two
daughters, Mrs. Edwina Thrasher, Ball, and Mrs. Betty Humphries,
Houston, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Carlie Cooper, Lake Charles;
three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
