  Services for Mr. Hector D. Bonnette, 87, of Shreveport, were
held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the Osborn Funeral Home
Chapel. The Rev. Harold Longfellow, pastor of Wynn Memorial
United Methodist Church, where Mr. Bonnette was a member,
officiated. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery.

  Mr. Bonnette, retired from the Louisiana Dairy Association, died
Monday, Dec. 26, 1983, at Schumpert Medical Center, after a brief
illness. He was a native of Sabine Parish, La., and had been a
resident of Shreveport since 1942.

  He is survived by two sons, Robert Jack Bonnette, and Donald
Gilbert Bonnette; one daughter, Dorothy Meacham, all of
Shreveport, and a number of grandchildren and great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Vernon J. Butler, Donald Gilbert Bonnette Jr.,
Robert Jack Bonnette Jr., Donald Earl Meacham, James W. Blocker,
and Randolph Johnson.
