Ruby L. Bennett

  Graveside services for Ruby Lou Bennett were held Monday, Sept.
11, 1995, at 2 p.m., at Lewing Cemetery, with Rev. Ford
officiating.

  Ms. Bennett died Sunday, Sept. 10, at L.S.U. Medical Center in
Shreveport, at the age of 65.

  She is survived by five daughters, Leeanna Bennett, Ida
Mitchell, Cathy Mitchell, Dorothy Goodman, all of Robeline, and
Louanne Behan of New Iberia; two sons, Robert and Jackie Bennett,
both of Alexandria; one sister, Ruth June Shahan of Baltimore,
Maryland; two brothers, Robert Lamb of Hilltop, Texas, and
Randolph Lamb of Seattle, Washington; 22 grandchildren; 7 great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
