Dean Bounds, Sr.

  Services for Mr. Dean Bounds, Sr., 60, of Shreveport, were held
Saturday, November 29, at 11 a.m., in Centuries Memorial Funeral
Home. Rev. Don Cottrill of Summer Grove Methodist Church,
officiated. Interment was at Centuries Memorial Park.

  Mr. Bounds was a native of Bailey, Miss., and resided in
Shreveport most of his adult life. He was a member of the Summer
Grove Methodist Church, and Volunteer for the Boy Scouts of
America. Mr. Bounds died Thursday, November 27, 1986, in Willis
Knighton Medical Center.

  Survivors are wife Martha Bounds of Shreveport; one daughter,
Mary Catherine Applebome of Houston, Tex.; two sons, Clarence
Dean Bounds Jr. of Mobile, Ala., and Dr. Walter Edward Bounds of
Shreveport; one daughter-in-law, Pam Bounds of Mobile, Ala.,
formerly of Many; and four sisters; and three brothers.
