Rev. Sydney Odom officiated. Interment was in Andersonville National Cemetery. Mrs. Bentley passed away at her residence, after an extended illness, on Jan. 6, 1995. Glenda was preceded in death by a sister, Ernestine Rhodes; and her daddy, Ernest Rhodes. Mrs. Bentley was a native of Louisiana, and had lived in Warner Robins since 1976. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Rhodes. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her widower, William R. Bentley of Warner Robins, Ga.; daughter, Connie Adkins of Warner Robins; mother, Mrs. Una Bell Rhodes McCormic of Many; grandchildren, Stephen, and Alicia Adkins, both of Warner Robins; two brothers, Eugene Rhodes of Baytown, and Richard Rhodes of Florien; sister, Delores Rhodes Yates of Longview, Tex.; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and a host of friends.
