All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Gertrude Byers Bunting Mrs. Gertrude Byers Bunting, 45, of Cutler, Calif., a former Shreveport resident, was killed instantly, Feb. 4, in an automobile accident, at an intersection near Cutler. A son, Johnny, 11, was injured seriously. Mrs. Bunting was a native of Louisiana, and had lived in Shreveport for about eight years, before moving to California in 1951. She is survived by her husband, W. ? Bunting of Cutler, a retired airman, who served at Barksdale AFB here; two other sons, Warren, and I?e; two daughters, Marion, and Patricia, all of Cutler; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. ? E. Byers of Zwolle; five brothers, Carl Byers of Zwolle, Elvin Byers of Kansas City, Mo., and Fred, Homer, and Burton Byers, all of Shreveport; and three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Sp?s of Keithville, Mrs. Dorothy Wilson of Guthrie, Okla., and Mrs. Ruth Taylor of Cutler.
