The Rev. Leo Beck, pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery. He died at 9 p.m., Thursday night, Nov. 5, at his home in Noble. Mr. Bowman, born in Brookhaven, Miss., and a resident of Shreveport most of his life, was a graduate of Fair Park High School in Shreveport. He was retired from the Frigiking Division of Cummins Engineer Co. of Dallas in 1974. He was Methodist. Mr. Bowman is survived by his widow, Mary Edna Daove Bowman of Noble; son Ray Allen Bowman of Covington; daughter, Zollene Bass of Waskom, Tex.; mother, Mrs. E. H. (Hazel) Bowman of Shreveport; brother, Monette and Geraldine Christian, both of Shreveport; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Edgar Bland, Harvey Christian, Rebb Baker, Ronnie Bass, Tom Murphy, George Klepien, O. A. Warren, and Harvey Dale Christian.
