Berry 5 Sep 1952 - Last rites for Tom S. Berry, 60, who expired at Belmont Tuesday of last week, were conducted at Belmont Baptist church 4 p.m. Wednesday by Rev. Oliver Roberts, Pastor. Interment was in Marthaville cemetery under direction warren funeral home. Pallbearers were Elmer Patton, Green Cox, J. T. Berry, Harvey Berry, Artis Lanu and Percy Tibbitt. Surviving relative include: father, Jack Berry, Bakersville, Texas; widow, Mrs. Agnes Berry, Belmont; sons, Thomas and Van Berry, Belmont; daughters, Miss Margie Berry, Belmont, Mrs. Vera Hayes, Marthaville, Mrs. Naomi Salley, Robeline, Mrs. Retha Grantham, Natchez, Miss., Mrs. Dorothy Buel, Shreveport, Mrs. Viola Lee, Dallas, Texas; brothers, Clifton and Henry Berry, Robeline, Willie Berry Shreveport; sisters, Mrs. Jan Lanu, Marthaville, Mrs. Mary Jordan, Robeline, Mrs. Minnie Brown, Hornbeck, Mrs. Pearlie Patton, Many; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
