Martha Jane Berry

  Services for Mrs. Martha Jane Berry, 88, of Belmont, were at 2
p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Beulah Methodist Church. The Rev.
Foster Jennings officiated. He was assisted by Rev. J. P. King.
Burial was in Beulah Cemetery. Arrangements were under the
direction of Rockett Nettles Funeral Home of Coushatta.

  She died Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Fraser Hospital in Many,
following a lengthy illness.

  Survivors include her son, Earl Barton, Pleasant Hill; four
daughters, Bertie Williams, Cushing, Tex., Mattie Jennings,
Marthaville, Ruthie Salley Belmont, and Margaret Johnson of
Pleasant Hill; 26 grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren; 8
great-great grandchildren.
