Charles L. Burr, 66, were held at Old Union Baptist Church on Thursday, March 26, at 3 p.m. Rev. Larry Solice officiated. Interment followed in Old Union Cemetery in Mansfield, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Rev. Burr died March 25, at Overton Brooks V.A. Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Burr of Mansfield; two sons, Billy Joe Burr of Harvey, and Charles Ray Burr of Mansfield; one daughter, Carolyn Diane Youngblood of Mansfield; six brothers, Hazel Ford of Logansport, Mable Mancil of Shreveport, Catherine Davis of Houston, Texas, Barbara Brown of Dallas, Texas, Charlene Todd of Belle Chaise, and Alice Fort of Ruston; four brothers, Elvin Burr of Marrero, Burness Burr of Pensacola, Florida, Donald Burr of Longview, Texas, and Gary Burr of Mansfield; seventeen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were C. W. Simmons, Bo Goodman, Jason Burr, Elvis Procell, Gray Procell, and Billy Youngblood.
