  Mrs. Eunice Mitchell Berry

  Services for Mrs. Eunice Mitchell Berry, 69, of Shreveport, were
held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 22, at Rose-Neath's Southside
Chapel with Dr. Ralph West, with the Louisiana District of the
Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Assisting was the Rev. Bill
Carr, pastor of Huntington Park Church of the Nazarene, where
Mrs. Berry was a member. Burial was at Forest Park West Cemetery.

  She died Friday, August 19, 1988, at 10:26 p.m. at her residence
following a lengthy illness. A native of Robeline, La. and
resident of Shreveport for the past 40 years she was a housewife.

  She is survived by her husband, Woodrow Berry of Shreveport;
three sons, Rev. Ronald W. Berry of Florien, La., Danny O. Berry
of Bethany, Okla., Michael W. Berry of Waskom, Texas; two
daughters, Patsy Jo Darter of Shreveport, Beckie Berry of Kansas
City, Missouri; six sisters, Eula Oquinn of Stonewall, La., Iris
Smith of Crowley, La., Loyce Laun, Elise Barnhill, Eloise
Barnhill, all of Shreveport; Dolly Barnhill of Many, La.; three
brothers, Earnest Mitchell of Natchitoches, La., Roy Mitchell of
Marthaville, La.; Ray Mitchell of Shreveport; twelve
grandchildren; two great grandchildren; numerous nieces and
nephews.

  Pallbearers: Nolan Smith, John Hill, Johnny Crow, Olen Durr,
Tommy Worsham, Gary Smith.
