  Funeral services for Rev. Guy T. Burr, 63, were held at 2 p.m.,
April 1, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

  Rev. Kenneth Leach, Rev. Alvon Hall, and Rev. J. P. King
officiated. Interment was in Belmont Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Rev. Burr passed away on March 30, 1995, in Schumpert Medical
Center.

  Survivors include his widow, Aleta Burr of Belmont; three sons,
Cliff Burr, Marty Burr, and Terry, all of Belmont; one daughter,
Connie Free of Springridge; mother-in-law, Pearl McMillian of
Many; five sisters, Ruth George, and Thelma Phillips, both of
Shreveport, Gertrude Bennett of Mansfield, Lovella Iles of Oil
City, and Marie Antee of Branson, Missouri; four brothers,
Garthel Burr of Mansfield, Walter Burr, and Dewey Burr, both of
Many, and Medford Burr of Zwolle; eleven grandchildren; and one
great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Rev. Burr was preceded in death by one son, Wesley Burr.
