Bray, 70, of Zwolle, died Friday, March 3, in a Shreveport hospital, after an extended illness. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 4, in the Aimwell Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ova Stalcup officiating. Burial was in the Aimwell Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. David Bray Sr. of Zwolle; two sons, David Bray Jr. of Many, and Nathan Herman Bray of Lake Charles; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Banke of Ft. Worth, Tex., and Mrs. Lois Monk of Leesville; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil Parrott of Many, and Mrs. Clara Wedgeworth of Beaumont, Tex.; five brothers, J. R. Bray of Many, and Kermit Bray, Kelsie Bray, Willard Bray, and Clifton Bray, all of Zwolle; and 10 grandchildren. There was Masonic rites at the graveside. The pallbearers were Cecil Tooke, Troy Wedgeworth, Dr. Hollis Bray, Max Teasley, John Loring, and Lowell Bray.
