Orest Ralph Barr

  Orest Ralph Barr, 28, of Lake Charles, died Wednesday, Dec. 7,
in Maplewood, after a sudden illness.

  Funeral services were held in St. Joseph Catholic Church,
Thursday, Dec. 8, with the Very Rev. Msgr. Robert C. Friend
officiating. Burial was in the St. Joseph Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Ann Barr of Lake
Charles; two sons, Orest Ralph Barr Jr., and George A. Barr, both
of Lake Charles; his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Maddox of Lake Charles;
two sisters, Mrs. Joseph P. Distefanu of Tallahassee, Fla., and
Mrs. Bobbie Drake of Lake Charles; one step sister, Mrs. Henry
Knight of Albuquerque, N. M.; and his grandmother, Mrs. Zula Pugh
Tucker of Shreveport.
