Bruce, 65, of Belmont were held in Belmont Baptist Church at 10 a.m. Monday, May 11, with the Rev. Walker Ledford officiating. Burial was in Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Mr. Bruce died after an extended illness in Many, May 9, at 2 p.m. Surviving relatives are, his wife, Mrs. Mable Bruce of Belmont; two sons, James Richard of Many, and Albert Charles, Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz.; two step-sons, B. J. and Glen Gaddis, both of Belmont; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Wyatt of Many, and Mrs. Jean Koch of Waterford, Ohio; a step-daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Rymas of Shreveport; a brother, Troy Bruce; 19 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Willie Bell, T. D. Brown, L. E. Wyatt, Clyde Singletary, Drew Lewing, and Billy Maxey.
