Mrs. Mandy Burk

  Mrs. Mandy Burk, 99, of North Sabine Nursing Home in Pleasant Hill died Thursday,
Dec. 4. She died 25 years and one day after her husband, Charles I. Burk.

  Mrs. Burk was a former resident of 210 Holly Street, DeQunicy.

  Funeral services were held at Sniders Funeral Home in DeQuincy with interment following
in Perkins Cemetery. The Rev. Glen Howard and Rev. Vernon Stevens officiated.

  Survivors include one son, Leo Burk and wife, Naomi of Belmont; one daughter, Odessa
Peppenhorst and husband, Max of Livingston, Texas; nine grandchildren, 14
great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nephews and nephews;
and many friends.

  Pallbearers were Bill Howard, Johnny Burk, Larry Broodway, Cariton Sally, Allen Burk
and Filton Adkinson.
