Mrs. Mattie B. Byers

  Mrs. Mattie Beatrice Byers, 74, of Houston, formerly of Noble,
died in a Houston hospital Saturday night, April 21.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 23, in the
Noble Pentecostal Church. Burial was in the Noble Cemetery, under
the direction of the Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield.

  Survivors include two sons, Paul Robert Grimm, and Charles Ray
Grimm, both of Houston, Tex.; six grandchildren; two brothers, H.
C. Johnson of Bridge City, Tex., and A. C. Johnson of Converse;
and three sisters, Mrs. Rena Webb of Noble, Mrs. Lucy Strahan of
Florien, and Mrs. Zelma Sandal of Florien.
