The Sabine Index - Emmett Loy Brooks

  13 Mar 1959 - Funeral services for Emmett Loy Brooks, age 70,
who died at Sabine clinic March 10, were conducted at 3 p.m.,
March 11 at Warren Funeral home chapel with Rev. Homer Spence and
Rev. Tom Sneed officiating. Burial was in charge of Warren
Funeral home.

  Survivors are wife, Mrs. Emmett L. Brooks of Milam, Texas, son,
Lyndel Brooks of Milam, daughter, Mrs. Alice Black of Milam;
step-daughter, Mrs. Gladys Cordroy of Milam; two brothers, Albert
E. and W. J. Brooks of Pittsburg, Texas; sister, Mrs. Minnie
Elliott of Winaynatchi, Wash.; six grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Wilburn Ener, Howard Sparks, Paul Vickers and
Jack McGowan.
