Jimmy Don Burke, Jr.

  Services for Jimmy Don Burke Jr., 14, of Springhill, were held
at 4 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, at the Springhill United Methodist
Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Charles Humphreys
officiated. Burial was in Springhill Cemetery. Services were
under the direction of Bailey Mortuary of Springhill.

  Jimmy, born in Springhill, died Sunday, July 8, at Schumpert
Medical Center. He was and eighth grade student of Springhill
Junior High. He is survived by his father, Jimmy Don Burke Sr. of
San Antonio, Tex.; his mother Linda Burke of Springhill; two
brothers, Scott Burke, and Ryan Burke of Springhill; his paternal
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Syvell Burke of Springhill; his
maternal grandmother, Mrs. Katherine Festervan of Cotton Valley;
his maternal grandfather, Darvan Festervan of Converse; his
paternal great grandparents, Mrs. G. B. Pickett Sr. of
Springhill, and Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Burke of Hope, Ark.

  Pallbearers were Tony Long, Tony Seeney, Matt Sanders, Jeff
Sessions, Percy Allen, an Scott Burke.
