Bob Philips, and Rev. Troy Terrell officiating. Interment followed at the Memory Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Brock died at the North Sabine Nursing Home, May 16, 1996. She was a native of Marthaville, and a resident of Converse. She was a retired merchant, and she taught school in Natchitoches Parish for a number of years. She was a member of the Converse First Baptist Church in Converse. Survivors include one son, John William Brock; one grandson, Reese Brock; and one great grandson, Logan Reese Brock, all of Converse; and one sister, Myrtis Durham of Oakdale.
