Mr. Bill Burke

  Mr. Bill Burke, 31, of Many, died Sunday, Jan. 17, in his home.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 20, at
Rocky Mount Methodist Church, with interment following at
Marthaville Cemetery. The Rev. Arthur Haymon officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Ellis Burke of Many; five stepsons,
Timothy Lope, and Charles Simms, both of Shreveport, Jessie Sims,
Brian Sims, and Jackie Brumley, all of Many; four stepdaughters,
Theresia Shoemaker of Many, Patricia Oxley, and Patsy Sims, both
of Robeline, and Jennifer Sims of Corpus Christy, Texas; mother,
Diane Jordan of Robeline; stepfather, Amos Jordan of Robeline;
one sister, Amy Jordan of Robeline; one brother, Walter Charles
Burke of Lacon, Ill.; grandmother, Eva Carrier of Henry, Ill.;
aunt, Carol Burke of Springvalley, Ill.; and a host of
grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
