Elizabeth Brooks

  Elizabeth Brooks, 80, of Many, died Friday, Nov. 4, in Many,
after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel Sunday, Nov. 6, with the Rev. Ralph Stephens officiating.
Burial was in Fenders Cemetery.

  Survivors include three sons, Johnnie H. Brooks of Fisher, Louis
A. Brooks of Shreveport, and Nolan C. Brooks of New Iberia; two
daughters, Mrs. Henry Britt of Leesville, and Mrs. Marguerite
Dehner of St. Louis, Missouri; five brothers, Willie McCormic,
and Oscar McCormic of Many, Riley McCormic of Liberty, Tex., W.
J. McCormic of Carthage, and Teddy McCormic of Hampshire; one
sister, Mrs. Emma Winn of Longview; 14 grandchildren; and 18
great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were the grandsons.
