He was a retired millwright of AT&T, and a veteran of the U. S. Army, Vietnam era. He was born in Washington, D. C., was a resident of Many, and formerly resided in Shreveport. A 1967 graduate of Fair Park High School, he attended Louisiana Tech in Ruston. He was a senior vice-commander of the Disabled War Veterans, a life member of the DAV, Sabine Chapter, and on the board of West Louisiana Veteran's Memorial Squad, Chapter 21. Mr. Brokaw was preceded in death by his father, Col. Clifford Lang Brokaw Sr.; and his sister, Susan Brokaw Kimmons. Survivors include his son, Clifford Lang "Trey" Brokaw III; daughter, Jennifer Michelle Brokaw; stepdaughter, Christy Childress Gattis; mother, Mary L. Brokaw; sister, Kathryn Brokaw Boyer; nephew, Alex Boyer; niece, Emily Kimmons; aunt, Margaret Brokaw; and other loving family and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., July 25, at the DAV Post in Many. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Shreveport, La.
