Hal A. Burgess

  Hal A. Burgess Jr., 55, a resident of Baton Rouge, and a native of
Mansfield, died in Baton Rouge Sunday, Mar. 21.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, Mar. 24, in the Drewett
Memorial Chapel in Mansfield, with the Rev. Dick Harbison, pastor of
the Baton Rouge Broadmoor Presbyterian Church, assisted by Dr. Hugh
Bradshaw, officiating.

  Interment followed in the Highland cemetery.

  He is survived by a brother, Judge Jack E. Burgess, who serves Sabine
Parish.
