Mrs. Margueritte Alton Morgan Burkett

  Mrs. Margueritte Alton Morgan Burkett, 84, of Converse died Saturday, Dec. 20
at DeSoto Regional Hospital in Mansfield after a brief illness.

  She was a homemaker.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday Dec. 22 at Fellowship Baptist Church
in Oak Grove community near Converse with interment following at Oak Grove Cemetery
in Oak Grove community. The Rev. Billy Burkett, a retired baptist minister, and the
Rev. Marshall Ingle, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church officiated.

  Survivors include one son, Julius Morgan Burkett of Nacogdoches, Texas; two
daughters, Bessie Wood of Converse and Shirley Stoker of Many; eight grandchildren;
five great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
