Donald DeWayne Burkett

  Funeral services for Donald DeWayne Burkett, 24, were held
Monday, June 18, at 10 a.m., in Antioch Baptist Church. Interment
followed in Fellowship Cemetery, Converse. Reverend James Evans
officiated.

  Mr. Burkett died June 15, in Florien.

  He is survived by his wife, Cindy Burkett of Florien; two
daughters, Kasee Burkett, and Nicole Burkett, both of Florien;
mother, Willie Faye Fox of Provencal; stepfather, Dale Fox of
Provencal; two brothers, Norman Burkett of Natchitoches, and
Robert Louis of Provencal; two sisters, Shelia Burkett, and
Kristie Anders, both of Provencal; maternal grandparents, Ernest
Hight of Pelican, and Wilma Wyatt of Mansfield; paternal
grandparents, Annie Bell Burkett of Mansfield; and a host of
nieces and nephews.

  He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Wayne Burkett;
and his grandfather, E. W. Burkett.
