Mildred Woods Brogdon

  Services for Mildred Woods Brogdon, 70, will be held Thursday,
August 22, at 10 a.m., in Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield
Chapel. Interment will follow at Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the
direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. The family will
receive friends from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m., Wednesday, at the
funeral home.

  Mrs. Mildred Woods Brogdon died Tuesday, August 20, at Sabine
Medical Center in Many. She was born in Pleasant Hill on March
30, 1921. Mrs. Brogdon was active in the First Baptist Church of
Pleasant Hill.

  Mrs. Brogdon was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Gannett
Brogdon.

  She is survived by one son, Jimmy Brogdon of Pleasant Hill; one
sister, Bobbie Jean Collins; three granddaughters, Twyla Laney
Cobb, Shannon Diane Brogdon, and Christy Lawan Brogdon; five
great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers included Roger J. Pickett, Rory Anderson, Daniel
Johnson, Mayo Cobb, and Glenn Anderson.
