Amos Roy Brewster

  Funeral services for Mr. Amos Roy Brewster, 93, were held at 2
p.m., Wednesday, September 4, in the Warren Meadows Chapel.
Officiating was the Rev. J. P. King. Interment followed at Old
Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mr. Brewster died Tuesday, September 3, at Sunset Nursing Center
in Pineville.

  He is survived by his wife, Martha Brewster of Tioga; two
grandchildren, Michael Brewster, and Shirley Brewster McDonald,
both of Frierson; two stepdaughters, Elsie Gore, and Junetta
Peterson, both of Tioga; one stepson, Rev. James Price of
Fullerton, Calif.; one niece, Lou Despino Warshaw of Alexandria;
nine step grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
