Doug Cain officiating. Burial followed in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, Ft. Jesup, La. Mrs. Burgdorf, 77, of Natchitoches, died at 1:54 a.m., May 4, in the Natchitoches Parish Hospital Long Term Care Unit. Mrs. Burgdorf retired from Valley Electric Membership Corp. in 1981. She did volunteer work at the Natchitoches Parish Hospital, after she retired. She was a native of Leesville, and a resident of Natchitoches. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Natchitoches. Survivors include her husband, Sherwood Burgdorf of Natchitoches; one son, Kirk Lucius, and daughter-in-law, Carole C. Lucius of Atlanta, Ga.; daughter, Sherrill Burgdorf of Tomball, Tex.; daughter, Gail L. Williams, and son-in-law, B. H. Williams of Houston, Tex.; two stepdaughters, Sue Smith of Key West Fla., and Elizabeth Richardson of Natchitoches; one sister, Lillian Jeane of Picayune, Miss.; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Pallbearers were Randy Lucius, Mark Williams, Gil Jeane, Patrick Williams, Dennis Jeane, and Larry Jeane.
