Mr. Melvin H. Brewster

  Mr. Melvin H. Brewster, 67, of Robeline, passed away on Sunday,
March 13, 1994, in Shreveport.

  He is survived by sisters, Aline Oquinn of Boyce, Loree Lauw of
Marthaville, Ruby Craig of DeSoto, Tex., Verline Houston of
Chicago, Ill., Elivia Ross of Marthaville; one brother, Johnny
Brewster of Pleasant Hill; 17 nieces and nephews; and 27 great
nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held on March 15, 1994, at 4 p.m., at
Crossroads Baptist Church in Marthaville. Burial was in the
Spring Ridge Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's
Mansfield Chapel. Rev. Ray Dyess officiated.
