Mrs. Virginia Antoinette Byrd

  Mrs. Virginia Antoinette Byrd, 77, died in Natchitoches Saturday, May 16.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 18 at Warren Meadows Chapel
with interment following at Mt. Carmel cemetery. The Rev. Bob Hamilton
officiated.

  Survivors included her husband, Sullivan Byrd of Many; three sons, Richard
Byrd and wife, Betty, Gerald Byrd and wife, Debbie and David Byrd, all of
Houston, Texas; two daughters, Sandra Lowery and husband, Doug of Haughton
and Susan Swan and husband, Mike of Houston, Texas; one sister, Elizabeth
Pennington of Grants Pass, Ore.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;
and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Benny Wayne Byrd, Kenny Barnhill, Bobby Chance, Richard
Byrd, Jr., Doug Lowery, and Mike Swan.
