The Sabine Index - Enoch Dunkin Britt

  28 Jun 1957 - Funeral services for Enoch Dunkin Britt, age 81,
who died Friday, June 21 was conducted at 2 p.m. Monday June 24
at Beulah Baptist church with Rev. Coda Salter officiating.
Interment was in church cemetery under the direction of Warren
Funeral home.

  Survivors are wife, Mrs. E. D. Britt of Many, sons, Clyde and
James Britt of Houston, Gaylond Britt of Beaumont, J. H. Britt of
Kirbyville; daughters, Mrs. Bessie Busby and Mrs. Ava Busby, both
of California, Mrs. Katherine Melder of Laqkdale, Mrs. Sallie
Hudson of Call, Texas; Mrs. Silva Matloe of Beaumont; Mrs. Pearl
Hooks of Kirbyville, Mrs. Audrey Lee Miller of Many, sister, Mrs.
Lillie Bell Cordary of Milam; half-brother, Emmitt Lawton of
DeRidder, 43 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
