The Sabine Index - Lemuel L. Byrd

  29 May 1959 - Last rites for Lemuel L. Byrd, age 83, who died
May 25 were conducted at Mount Carmel Baptist church at 2 p.m.
May 26 with Rev. Earl Marr officiating. Interment was in church
cemetery under the direction of Warren Funeral home.

  Survivors are three sons, James L., and L. H. of Shreveport; J.
J. of Haughton; one daughter, Mrs. Lela Mae Carter of Shreveport,
22 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
