Ed Byrd

  Ed Byrd, 83, of Many, died in Many on Monday, Aug. 18, at 4:30
p.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lula Self of Many; a
daughter-in-law, Gladys Byrd of Many; a sister, Mrs. Ville Brown
of Coushatta; 9 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Trinity Baptist Church on
Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts.
Burial was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, uder the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
