Mrs. Agnes Britt

  Mrs. Agnes Britt, 74, of Pleasant Hill, died in Baton Rouge
Saturday, May 15, at 4:30 a.m., after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held at the Progress Presbyterian Church
Sunday, May 16, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. L. C. Kearns, and the
Rev. Vernon Stevenson officiating. Interment was in the
Springridge Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives are her husband, James A. Britt of Pleasant
Hill; one son, James D. Britt of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Mrs.
W. N. (Marvis) Murray of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. Annie
Arnold, and Mrs. Kate Gewin, both of Pleasant Hill; six
grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
