Willie Mae Britt

  Mrs. Willie Mae Britt, 71, of Many, died on Friday, Sept. 28, at
8:40 p.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include her husband, Troy Britt; and numerous nieces
and nephews.

  Funeral services were held in the Many First Baptist Church on
Saturday, Sept. 30, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Rod Smith, church pastor,
and the Rev. Kelly Fitzgerald officiated. Burial was in the Many
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were A. R. Barnhill, W. R. Miller, Clark Pouncy, Tom
Self, Melvin Wright, and Willard DeWitt.

  Honorary pallbearers were Hollis Bray, Jerry Bazer, Georg
Boyens, Dan Coats, C. D. Dees, Johnny DeWitt, Herbert Gandy, M.
F. Murray, Glen Owers, Horace Tompkins, Ray Williams, John R.
Pickett, Paul Morris, Donald Scaife, Wayne Phillips, T. E. Britt,
Tommy Fountain, and Elmer Tapp.
